• Marie when to the Known World Heraldic Symposium in Tir Ys Githr (Tucson) in June

Arts Receptions for Their Excellencies - August 8, 1998 will be an Arts Reception for Their Excellencies Baron Thurstan and Baroness Allaine. It will be at St. Michael in Riverside across from Hunt Park. It will start at 12:00 pm and run to 4:00 pm. This event is not in the Crown Prints. Dreiburgen's Summers Arts and Sciences has been canceled this year. This Reception is for Arts displays and lots of food. If you desire, you can also make presentations to Their Excellencies.

• Heatherwyne Anniversary on July 18
• Festival of the Rose on July 19 in Heatherwyne. We need to ransom our Baroness there. A Laurel's Prize tourney will be going on.
• Darkwell War at the end of July

Officer Reports

• Scribe - Canton minutes are available via email. Those who want it can get a hard copy
• Treasury - Canton funds stand at $ 2397.24 in the bank!
• Herald - With Lady Gislaine's help, we have redrawn the proposed badge for the Canton (a wyvern's tail). A period dragon's tail with barbs was discovered and sent along with our re-submission.
• Chatelaine - Still looking for a replacement

Canton Anniversary Report - Cleanup and key deposit checks were returned to the Barony.

Bumper Stickers - Valinda had no new information about getting custom bumper stickers made. She will try to get updated information by next council meeting.

Baronial Anniversary on October 24

• Need to start planning for the Canton's presentation. Donal will present his annual huge chocolate chip cookie.
• A proposal for Town and Gown games between the Canton and the Collegium Sancti Geronimi has been brought up. We need to come up with the games.

Baronial Library - A new list and a database containing the Canton's portion of the Baronial library is available from Donal.

• Morgan has graciously offered to maintain the Barony's and Canton's web pages. Canton minutes are posted as they are sent to her. Dreiburgen News will also be online when the information is sent to her.
